From generation to generation

For nearly two centuries, people have gathered at Parkers Chapel to worship, hear God's Word, and discover the hope of Jesus Christ.

Our story holds generations of prayers, families, and lives changed by the Gospel. And God is still writing it.

This Legacy Sunday, we'll remember those who came before us, celebrate what God is doing today, and look ahead with faith. We would love for you to be part of it.

Explore our beginnings

Historical records show that a congregation was established here by 1832. In 1834, Archibald Parker conveyed an acre along Old River Road to trustees for a Free Will Baptist meeting house.

Through revivals, changing communities, new locations, and growing ministries, God has continued to use Parkers Chapel to reach people for Christ. That calling continues today.
