Student Ministries
The goal of Parkers Chapel student ministries
is to develop lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. We seek to begin this at a very young age by providing instruction for every age group on their own appropriate level. For children 3 years and under, we provide active nurseries to help engage toddlers while they are young. We strive to help children have a positive experience at church while they are young to help begin their journey with Christ.
Our nurseries are staffed by experienced workers who are well trained to handle groups of young children. Whether school-teachers, grandparents, or mothers, our workers will make your child’s first experiences of church exciting and memorable.
Classes for toddlers run simultaneous with service and are located in the same building as are main auditorium.
Grade school age children love being a part of Parkers Chapel! We focus a lot of planning and volunteers to help developing and leading the next generation of the church.
During church services, we incorporate elementary age children into a program that will provide them a place to learn and grow in their own way. During the Sunday School hour, age specific classes are provided to teach and educate children. During the Sunday morning service elementary students have a church service tailored for them. Wednesday night is for AWANA. This program is designed to unite the church and family in a single effort to help the spiritual growth of students.
Some of the year’s highlights include Summer Camp, the fall Harvest Festival, and the spring Fun-A-Rama.

Junior High/ High School (7th-12th)
The teen years can be hard. So many enter early adulthood and wander through life adrift while others lose their moral bearings. We seek to prepare teens so they might enter life ready to live for Christ.
On Sunday teens meet in the Family Life Center for Sunday School at 9:30a. This class time is set around being spiritually educational. On Wednesdays is when the entire youth group gathers for games, laughs and Bible lesson.
There are many exciting and formational events throughout the calendar for our teens. Every month a different activity provides an exciting diversion from the stress of teen life. Two key events are the winter retreat and summer camp. These are key highlights to spiritually challenge and encourage.
College
College life is a big deal in Greenville and around Pitt County. We believe it should be at Parkers Chapel as well. With consistent outreach into ECU, and our own college age adults, we have a growing group of the upcoming generation attending our church. Their Sunday School class meets downstairs in the Family Life Center.
